Clipboard and app data
CopyCue does not read, store or transmit clipboard contents. It reads only the system pasteboard change counter to display a brief checkmark. It does not maintain clipboard history or record your keystrokes, screen or copied items.
CopyCue collects no personal information and has no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party SDKs. The app makes no network requests and does not share app data with third parties.
Your controls and local settings
Preferences stay on your Mac in the app’s sandbox. Launch at login is off by default and is enabled only with your consent. You can turn it off, pause visual feedback or quit at any time. Closing Settings keeps the app running; choose Quit CopyCue to stop it.
Local preferences remain until removed. To remove them, disable launch at login, quit CopyCue and delete its sandbox container at ~/Library/Containers/io.github.ShaunNYC.CopyCue/. Uninstalling alone may leave preferences on the Mac. There is no clipboard content to delete.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request and do not sell or use them for advertising. Contact us to request deletion of information you sent to support. Do not include credentials or clipboard contents.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages, without added analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may process network request information to deliver and secure the site; see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Opening the online policy from the app uses your default browser. Apple operates macOS and App Store services under its own privacy policy.
