Help
I hid the menu bar icon. How do I open Settings?
Open CopyCue again from Finder → Applications or Spotlight. The existing app opens its settings window.
Why does the checkmark sometimes appear without pressing Copy?
CopyCue detects changes to the system pasteboard, not the Copy command. Clipboard managers and other apps may change it too. Several changes within a quarter of a second produce one cue.
How does launch at login work?
It is off by default and changes only with your consent. Enable it in CopyCue Settings. If macOS requests approval, open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions. Login launches stay in the background. Revoking approval in macOS is respected.
How can I quit or uninstall?
Choose Quit CopyCue from Settings or the menu bar. Closing Settings keeps feedback active. Turn off launch at login, quit, then remove the app to uninstall. Local preferences remain in the app’s sandbox container until you remove them.
What about accessibility?
CopyCue uses native controls and keyboard navigation, adapts to light and dark appearance, and respects macOS Reduce Motion. The overlay does not intercept clicks. It is a visual cue; no sound or clipboard history is provided.
